Cedars Sinai Board Member, Dr. Sonu Ahluwalia, joins eddii's advisory board

Dr. Ahluwalia is a trustee on the Board of Directors at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles and is a Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon. Chosen by Hollywood Reporter as the Best Orthopedic Surgeon, Sonu is passionate about Entrepreneurship and advises multiple startups. He is a Venture Partner at the Lake Nona Fund. Dr. Ahluwalia is a Health Innovator Fellow at the Aspen Institute and a Mentor at the Innovation Class at Harvard Business School.

A world traveler, Sonu seeks out opportunities to give back to the global community. Partnering with understaffed hospitals in India, the Peruvian Amazon, and African villages, he has performed free surgeries, and, through lectures and demonstrations, has shared his knowledge with local physicians. Sonu was born and raised in India. He emigrated to the US after medical school and trained in orthopaedic surgery at the Combined Harvard Orthopaedic Residency Program. He earned an MBA with majors in entrepreneurial management and finance from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
