Pediatric Endocrinology
Head of Pediatric Endocrinology
Dr. Rabab Jafri is an Assistant Professor of Pediatric Endocrinology based in Texas. Dr. Jafri evaluates and treats patients for a variety of endocrine conditions from the newborn age to early adulthood. These include congenital issues related to malformation of glands at birth as well as acquired hormonal issues due to genetic and lifestyle factors. Her research involves clinical trials with the bionic pancreas (iLet®)-a device designed to automate control of blood sugars for people living with type 1 diabetes. Dr. Jafri. did her residency at University of Chicago in Pediatrics, and her fellowship at Harvard Medical School in Pediatric Endocrinology.
Dr. Zohreh Shoar is a pediatric endocrinologist based in Santa Barbara, CA, with a career spanning over 36 years. Her expertise in pediatric endocrinology focuses on diabetes, thyroid disorders, growth abnormalities, and adrenal insufficiency in children. She is affiliated with Einstein Medical Center Philadelphia and provides multilingual care in English, Spanish, and Chinese. Dr. Shoar is committed to a family-centered, evidence-based approach, integrating parents and family members into the care process to ensure comprehensive, supportive treatment. Dr. Shoar promotes optimal health through lifestyle guidance and disease prevention, and her work has been recognized with numerous awards for her contributions to endocrinology and research.
Dr. Moinuddin H. Mokhashi is a highly respected pediatric endocrinologist based in Newhall, California, with more than 20 years of experience in treating childhood endocrine disorders. Dr. Hariram Ganesh is a seasoned pediatric endocrinologist with over 17 years of experience. Based in New York City he specializes in pediatric endocrinology and general pediatrics, treating a range of conditions, including acanthosis nigricans and vitamin deficiencies.
Dr. Ganesh is affiliated with several hospitals, including Staten Island University Hospital, Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, Maimonides Medical Center, Nassau University Medical Center, and Richmond University Medical Center.

Dr. Robert Cooper is an experienced endocrinologist based in Holyoke, Massachusetts, with over 31 years in the medical field. He specializes in diabetes management, metabolic disorders, osteoporosis, and thyroid conditions. Affiliated with Holyoke Medical Center and Baystate Medical Center, Dr. Cooper is recognized for his expertise in endocrine and metabolic care, as well as his involvement in non-clinical consulting in disability files, medicolegal issues, and expert knowledge consulting. Dr. Cooper is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine in both Internal Medicine and Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism. He attended Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University and did his residency and fellowships at Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell and NYU Grossman Long Island School of Medicine.

Dr. Nowreen Haq is an experienced endocrinologist with over 20 years of clinical and academic experience, specializing in complex diabetes, cardiometabolic health, obesity, and transgender endocrinology. Based in Baltimore, Maryland, Dr. Haq is affiliated with Luminis Health Anne Arundel Medical Center and the University of Maryland Medical Center. She brings a robust academic background, with additional training from Yale, Columbia, Johns Hopkins, and NIH. In addition to patient care, Dr. Haq is active in research, contributing to numerous publications and clinical trials focused on epidemiology, global health, and healthcare management. She also serves as an Associate Program Director for Luminis Health’s Internal Medicine Residency Program.
Dr. Bekir Suveyd is a dedicated endocrinologist located in Vancouver, Washington, with a strong commitment to providing care to underserved populations. Known for his expertise in diabetes and metabolic health, he has extensive experience with advanced diabetes management, obesity treatment, and general endocrinology.
During his training, Dr. Suveyd was awarded the Distinguished Resident Award at Hurley Medical Center and graduated at the top of his class from Alfaisal University, earning a full merit-based scholarship. Dr. Suveyd is committed to offering inclusive, accessible care to a broad patient base.
Dr. Safa Hammami is a board-certified physician in Endocrinology and Obesity Medicine. She completed her internal medicine residency at UCSF Health, St. Mary's Hospital in San Francisco, CA, in 2020, followed by her fellowship at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, Oregon, in 2022.
Her expertise includes managing Diabetes Mellitus with advanced technologies and medication-assisted weight loss. Dr. Hammami’s approach focuses on personalized and holistic care to help patients achieve optimal endocrine health.
