The Role
eddii is on a mission to improve access to endocrine care—from diabetes management to medical care for endocrine conditions (T1D, T2D, pre-diabetes, PCOS, thyroid issues, and more).
We’re looking for a creative, proactive college student who can leverage their social media skills and experience with type 1 advocacy to help us drive awareness of our virtual care clinic, eddii-Care, among college students.
Internship Details

Duration: 8 weeks during the summer (flexible on exact timing)

Location: Fully remote

Compensation: $20 / hour

Commitment: Expect 10–15 hours per week, with flexibility to manage time around academic schedules if needed

Reports directly to eddii’s Chief Marketing Officer
Responsibilities

Campaign Strategy & Execution:
-
Assist in crafting marketing strategies and campaigns focused on increasing patient acquisition and awareness for the eddii-U program.

Coordinate with the eddii team to ensure that marketing efforts are consistent with our overall brand messaging.

Content Creation:

Develop engaging and informative social media content that aligns with eddii’s brand personality and visual style.

Produce various formats (images, short videos, reels, infographics) aimed at educating and engaging college audiences.

Community Engagement & Outreach:

Actively engage with followers and potential patients across social media platforms
-
Initiate conversations and build relationships within type 1 diabetes advocacy and related chronic condition communities.

Analytics & Reporting:

Track and analyze key performance metrics (content output, follower growth, engagement rates).

Provide weekly reports and insights to adjust strategies for optimal impact.

Desired Qualifications
-
Currently enrolled in college, majoring in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

Demonstrated personal or advocacy experience in the type 1 diabetes space (or with another chronic condition).

Proven social media presence with a strong portfolio of content creation (even if it’s from personal or school projects).

Familiarity with digital marketing trends, social media platforms, and basic analytics tools.

Excellent written and visual communication skills and a self-motivated attitude.

Previous internship or coursework in marketing is a plus but not required.
